While the dialogue is at times so cliched its ridiculously, its still quite an amusing film and definitely watchable.
The Snow Report
After a warm sandy start, there is loads and loads of snow. Not only is it crucial to the story but it also looks good as well for most of the movie.
Representatives of the big man appear occasionally.
Baubles, Lights and Tinsel
Trees and loads of decorations. In fact the Rockefeller tree even gets a mention. But it is the festive mistletoe at Mistletoe Junction that saves the day. The movie even includes a montage of decorations.
Will It Make Me Cry?
One sad moment but it passes quickly and then it gets a little worse but eventually better.
Loads and loads of festive music throughout though the various versions of Jingle Bells are perhaps a highlight. The carol of the bells ring tone is also great. There are also a number of great instrumental theme pieces and some festive piano jazz.
Candace Cameron Bure from Full/Fuller House is the cast highlight but Nelson Wong and Mark Brandon also appear.
Eventually our characters end up stranded in a town that celebrates Christmas brilliant with named streets, Christmas markets and lots of tinsel and lights. Even if the service at Dashers Pub is a little slow.
