Surviving Christmas

This is watchable, its not amazing but it is worth watching once and does have a fun cast. The story is crazy but then it is a Christmas movie and actually has everything in it, including Santa.

2 out of 5 santas might watch it!

The Snow Report

There is some at the start and patchy snow coverage continues throughout the movie. But then it really starts to snow.

Santa Sightings

A miserable Santa appears immediately setting an appropriate tone for the movie. But then we met Santa for a photo.

Baubles, Lights and Tinsel

From the start a huge tree and then there is a tree in the airport. Eventually the whole nativity scene is recreated with real people and the house becomes very well dressed.

Will It Make Me Cry?

Perhaps this movie is went to make you cry but I fear at times its just to enjoyable laughing at the misery of the main character. Consequently even at the emotional part at the end it still does not matter.

Sing Along

An immediate sing along start with an appropriate montage of festive activities and then, they all sing O Christmas Tree.

Cast Presents

At times, the way the film is shot makes it appear as if the cast very rarely actually together. James Gandolfini at Christmas is a nice feel, who eventually ends up wearing a Santa hat.

Cool Christmas

The opening sequence includes an example of traditional male present wrapping and there is a metro train at the start. The way yule tide glee is said is fun and their is a nice performance of part of the Christmas Carol.
