The Santa Clause

The great thing about the movie is the way it gets straight to the point with Santa, the sledge and the immediate deputization of Tim Allen. Its also a lot of fun and of course this is just the first part.

4 out of 5 santas might watch it!

The Snow Report

Lots at the north pole as you would expect but also loads at the start of the movie.

Santa Sightings

Lots and lots of Santas at the start and it turns out the Santa is not very quiet in fact he is very noisy and then he dies. Of course that is the point of the movie.

Baubles, Lights and Tinsel

Christmas bells, lights trees and then a train in a shop window in fact it looks a little like a tv advert at times but thats ok as once we get to the north pole it is just awesome. In fact there are a lot of trains in this film.

Will It Make Me Cry?

I guess this could make you cry but I don't think it is very likely to.

Sing Along

A beautiful rendition of Carol of the bells then followed up by many, many, many renditions of I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas and of course Santa Claus if coming to town.

Cast Presents

Tim Allen but with not enough tool time references. It also makes sense that the practicalities of Santas operation are controlled by a young David Krumholtz.

Cool Christmas

The turkey fire is kind of fun as is the Dennies scene. Seriously this movie also explains many of the dynamics of the actual operation of Santa Claus, including the sledge, entering houses and what happens if there is no fireplace. There is also an incredible collection of jumpers as well.
