An excellent Christmas movie, with clear understanding of the genre. More than just an obvious Christmas movie the film offers a unique contribution to the field with the true believers idea and an adorable collection of elves.

The big man features throughout the movie and is an enjoyable mix of crazy, friendly and mix. He has super powers and an incredible knowledge of Chicago but reindeer that disobey him.
Sing Along
Great throughout with a really well crafted orchestral score. And then we get to the jail sing along.

A limited amount of snow such a minor short coming can be easily overlooked.
Cool Christmas
Reindeer apperently really enjoy Candy canes and Santa enjoys speeding through the city in a car as long as it is red.

In Summary
The final Die Hard movie to be set at Christmas and it is great. Lacking any real festivity but instead offering relief from the more typical fayre, a must see. It also offers handy tips for surviving gun battles, flying aircraft and escaping planes.

The big man does not feature in the movie but fortunately John McClane delivers.

Surprisingly not festive at times including the signature tune at the end.

There is loads of snow throughout the movie and it plays a crucial role as well, including a chase on snowmobiles.

The Muppet Christmas Carol
In Summary
This is one of my favourite Christmas movies, I think it is ace. If you have never seen it you should go watch it right now as doing otherwise would be bad and consequently jeopardise your Christmas present.

Its great the whole way, apart from the sad song during the ghost of Christmas past. In fact once you have watched the movie and repeat viewings become a sing-along.

There is snow and related activities through the film with comical snowballing, and of course the penguins ice skating Christmas party.

In Summary
An excellent movie with sensitive treatment of the Santa Claus and a surprising amount of comedy and family friendly action throughout.

Present throughout this is the actual Santa Claus who appears to conduct himself in accordance with air traffic control. The question of his fitness and suitability for his role is also considered with in the movie.
Sing Along
If any criticism could be offered than a lack of a good singalong feature within the movie is perhaps the only oversight.

Significant amounts of snow are present at various times within the movie however the characters familiarity with it makes it useful.
Cool Christmas
This movie includes extensive discussion of North Pole technology and its integration into everyday life. There is a significant contribution as to the practicalities of the Santa Claus delivery mechanism which is perhaps a novel take.

In Summary
A thought provoking film based around the Christmas period.

While the big guy does not feature himself, his representatives do appear.
Sing Along
While not particularly christmassy, the music is well written throughout. There is also some great saxophone playing. The use of O Holy Night in the cafe is very good and the salvation army briefly feature as well.

The snow starts to fall and makes things Christmassy but also hard

The saxophones solos and the fact that Trevor insists of running everywhere are highlights worth mentioning.

In Summary
This is a great Christmas movie. Unusual in the cannon of work due to explosions, machine guns and of course incredible one liners.

Other than a few effigies of the big man, in this movie he is well replaced by the heroic breaking and entry of the cast.
Sing Along
Foreboding sleigh bells all over the start and then some lesser heard Christmas music courtesy of Argyle in the limo. The reworking of Christmas carols and tunes into darker versions throughout the movie is quite interesting actually.

The movie is in California it does not snow.

A great movie which I suspect many enjoy every year, usually on TV. I am sure that I am not the only one who has taken the inspiration of this movie and consider possible zombie defence applications for their own abode.

Excellent through and of course it all builds up to the I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

It takes a while to arrive, which is the point of the film but when it does it does it well. Not only does the snow eventually arrive but it proves to be the inspiration of both title and the signature song of this classic.

In Summary
This movie reminds us that there are many situations in life where you should not be wearing a santa suit, but also many situations in life which are much funnier if you are wearing a santa suit.

A representative of Santa is the main character of the movie, hilariously so. However he did not complete Santa school and he is a bad santa.

Classy at times but mainly funny, there is a cool swing version of jingle bells and a great brass version of silent night.

Snow from the very start in a beautifully set scene which eventually settles to be deep and even, but does not go well with the sick.

The store manager has many cool ties and bad santa raids the advent calender and then attacks some children. They also make things out of popcorn as well and have a shootout through a nativity scene.
