Christmas With The Kranks
This film reminds us why change is such a bad idea and that we should all do exactly the same thing every year. Also many characters are quite dark, vengful version of their stereotypes. It is however funny at times and ends as you expect.
The Snow Report
There is no opening snow, instead it is nicely swapped for pouring rain however small patches of snow do appear and by the end of the movie the snow arrives in force.
Santa Sightings
He does not feature in person.
Baubles, Lights and Tinsel
Trees and decorations from the very start even though it is just after Thanks Giving and then a massive collection of Christmas stuff. There is moment of Christmas lighting electrocution and a mistaken Christmas tree theft as well.
Will It Make Me Cry?
The movie could be sad but in fact is funny, but moving at the very end maybe.
Sing Along
A nice collection of background carols with appropriate use of sleigh bells and then some more unusal choices as well. Of course the carolling is a real highlight as well, especially with its weaponisation and posible Whose Line Is It Anyway cast member.
Cast Presents
Tim Allen is himself and Dan Aykroyd is great as well.
Cool Christmas
While this movie is a little worrying at times the two hickorey honey ham chase scenes, snowman hanging and the afore mentioned carroling make this cool. Also a Starbucks red cup features.
